Rep. Rehm Crime Bills Move Forward to Judiciary Committee

SANTA FE, NM— Rep. Bill Rehm (R-Albuquerque) today presented two bills from his crime package in the House Consumer & Public Affairs committee. The first bill was House Bill 113, dealing with increasing penalties for felons who possess firearms. And House Bill 114 that will make it a crime to carry a firearm while trafficking a controlled substance. HB 113 and 114 are part of a larger crime package that received a call and support from the Governor to be heard during the thirty-day legislative session.
