2021 Capitol Report, Day One



The 60-Day Legislative session that begins today will be anything but “Regular,” given the state of the COVID-19 pandemic.

But, as Tom Trowbridge reports, the Legislature will proceed in much the same way as during the two brief special sessions held in response to the outbreak.

New Mexico Democratic House Speaker Brian Egolf says differences between previous and this year’s 2021 regular sessions begin at the Roundhouse doors:

Egolf says that means there will be two ways House Committees will take-in public comment during their meetings:
