Santa Fe— “Open up New Mexico May 1st safely, responsibly and fairly.” That is the message in the resolutions the Roswell area legislators personally delivered to the Office of Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham at the State Capitol this afternoon. State Senator Cliff Pirtle (R-32 Roswell), Representatives Phelps Anderson (R-66), Greg Nibert (R-59) and Candy Ezzell (R-58) drove up from Roswell to make certain the governor receives the two resolutions recently passed by the Chaves County Commission and the Roswell City Council.
