The war in Ukraine has devastated the lives of millions of people, especially children. Almost two out of every three children are now displaced either within Ukraine or in neighboring countries and beyond.
In response to this global crisis, broadcasters around the country have answered the call shining a spotlight on humanitarian efforts and raising funds to help. Beyond this, the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) is also urging stations to participate in a public service campaign to benefit UNICEF USA’s emergency response for the children of Ukraine beginning June 20, which is also World Refugee Day.
In addition to 30-second radio and TV PSAs in English and Spanish, NAB is providing talking points, B-roll and other resources for stations to utilize on their websites, social media and in newscasts at nab.org/HelpUkraine. Please consider airing these spots as often as possible beginning on June 20 through July 4.
The spots encourage audiences to donate to UNICEF’s relief efforts at unicefusa.org/Action
