Daylight savings bill passes the Senate with bipartisan support

SANTA FE — Today, the New Mexico Senate passed Senate Bill 102, sponsored by Senator Cliff Pirtle (District 32-Chaves, Eddy, and Otero). If enacted, the new law would keep New Mexico on Daylight Saving Time year-round pending approval from the federal government.
