State announces more flexible storage, shipping options for Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine


Santa Fe–The New Mexico Department of Health (DOH) on Monday announced that the federal government has modified the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine Emergency Use Authorization. Now, thawed, undiluted vials of Pfizer vaccine may be stored for up to one month in refrigerators. Previously, thawed, undiluted vaccine vials could be stored in refrigerators for a maximum of five days.
