ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A longtime member of the Action 7 News family, Johnny Morris, has passed away. Many welcomed Johnny into their homes when he began at KOAT in the 1970s. In 1979 he teamed up with Mary Lynn Roper on the news desk becoming New Mexico’s first male and female co-anchor team. He remained a constant voice on Action 7 News until his retirement in 2000.
