COVID cases remain low at New Mexico colleges, where vaccination rates are high

Albuquerque, NM – Colleges and universities around the state have been requiring many students to be vaccinated against COVID-19, for others frequent COVID-19 testing is required. At the University of New Mexico, there are 18,986 confirmed fully vaccinated students, faculty and staff. For most New Mexico universities, the case counts are low in comparison to the amount of people on campus.
