Off-duty sheriff fatally shoots dog in Farmington


A dog was shot in San Juan County by an off-duty sheriff after the vehicle made a stop inside Farmington on Friday. San Juan County Sheriff Shane Ferrari, who was off-duty, noticed a vehicle make several traffic violations before parking at La Plata Drive and Padilla Drive, according to SJCSO. Ferrari was using his personal vehicle.
