ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A $959 million tax package proposal passed the House and Revenue committee Monday. House Bill 547, sponsored by the chairman of the New Mexico House & Revenue Tax Committee Rep. Derrick Lente, would include $300 rebates, an increase in alcohol taxes and changes to the child tax credit.
