LA PLATA COUNTY, Colo. — A four-day wildfire evacuation drill will be done in the southwestern region of Colorado next week. The drills will be led by the La Plata County Office of Emergency Management. County residents are being encouraged to register for the CodeRED alert system. There will be a test of the alert system sometime next week.
