ECECD to Host Call for New Mexico Journalists on Early Childhood Four-Year Finance Plan

SANTA FE – The New Mexico Early Childhood Education and Care Department (ECECD) invites New Mexico journalists to join ECECD Secretary Elizabeth Groginsky at noon on Thursday, January 27^th for a virtual presentation on the department’s inaugural Four-Year Finance Plan. The legislation that created ECECD in 2019 requires the department to produce the Four-Year Finance Plan on a rolling basis to project the costs of providing a comprehensive and aligned system of early childhood programs and services for families with children aged prenatal-5 years.
