George R.R. Martin Makes Donation to the New Mexico Film Foundation For a Screenwriting Grant

$5000 will go to an aspiring screenwriter

SANTA FE-  Dirk Norris, Executive Director of the New Mexico Film Foundation announced the availability of an annual, $5000 screenwriters grant made possible by the generous donation of George R. R. Martin, known for the HBO Series “Game of Thrones” and owner of the Jean Cocteau Theater in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The submission process will open on July 1st, 2020 and run until September 15th, 2020. To enter, you must be a New Mexico resident, 18 years old and NOT a member of the Writer’s Guild of America.
