Herrell Opposes Impeachment, Turning a Blind Eye to Trump’s Role in Last Week’s Violent Riot

This afternoon, President Donald Trump became the only president in the history of the United States to be impeached twice. A bipartisan group of lawmakers, including 10 Republican representatives, voted to charge the president with “incitement of insurrection.” This was the most bipartisan impeachment vote in history. This article of impeachment was introduced in response to last week’s violent riot that breached the U.S. Capitol and was fueled by election disinformation and conspiracy theories.
