New Mexico Can Honor Veterans More than on the National Holiday with a Tax Break on Their Military Retiree Pay

On Veterans Day Yesterday- WalletHub Ranked NM 30th for Desirable Places For Veterans to Live- Senator Bill Burt Knows Tax Breaks can Improve NM’s  Desirability!

Santa Fe –  Yesterday,  Veterans’ Day , WalletHub Ranked New Mexico as the 30th most desireable states for Veterans to live in. Senator Bill Burt says more military retirees would be encouraged to retire in New Mexico if they receive a break on their state income taxes on their military retirement pay.  This upcoming legisltive session, Senator Burt expects to introduce once again, a bill to give a tax break as an incentive for military retirees to live in the Land of Enchantment. Plus, Senator Burt said, it would honor veterans for their service in addition to the national holiday.
