New Mexico Department of Agriculture plans pesticide disposal events in October

Free community events held in Deming, Santa Rosa

LAS CRUCES – The New Mexico Department of Agriculture (NMDA) will host pesticide disposal events in Deming and Santa Rosa Tuesday, Oct. 19 and Thursday, Oct. 21, respectively. The Deming event will take place at the Southwest New Mexico State Fairgrounds South Parking Lot at 4300 Raymond Reed Blvd., while the Santa Rosa event will take place at the New Mexico Department of Transportation office at 318 West Black Street. Both events will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
