Beloved New Mexico broadcaster, Chuck Hammond, died today at his home in Albuquerque surrounded by his family after a fierce battle with cancer. Chuck was in broadcasting for more than 40 years, including time in Kansas, Phoenix, Tampa and finally Albuquerque, where he oversaw two dozen stations across the state as the Regional Market Manager of New Mexico iHeart stations from 2003 until he retired in 2018.
