ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — After being on hold for months because of the COVID-19 pandemic, New Mexico’s film industry is starting back up. But how will it all work under the new COVID-19 restrictions? Just like many other businesses, re-opening the state’s film industry is going to look different. In just the last couple weeks, a few projects have started back up in pre-production, but according to the local film union, currently it’s only on a case-by-case basis, and there are some pretty strict rules that these crews are following.
