Fire marshals to assess whether schools are COVID-19-safe for hybrid learning


“This is a public health order inspection, not a fire inspection or fire code inspection,” Albuquerque Deputy Chief Fire Marshal Gene Gallegos said.

There’s a list of requirements each school needs to check off to make sure it’s safe for kids and teachers to return. The fire marshal will play a part in getting kids back in the classroom.
