“We actually just broke our record number since the start of COVID-19, on July 2, when we saw about 13,800 passengers,” Jonathan Small, a spokesperson for the Sunport, said.

The New Mexico tourism sector is seeing strides in the road to recovery as travel is picking up in the Land of Enchantment. Forty-nine states across the country declared their independence from COVID-19 rules and are fully reopened as of this weekend.
