A spike in deputy-involved violence has become a priority for the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office, and now a new bill to address violence against law enforcement is scheduled to be introduced.

Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office faced two shootings involving deputies in one week, continuing what Sheriff Manny Gonzales is calling a trend.
