Some New Mexico cities are training civilians to respond to mental health calls


Some communities in New Mexico have started programs that send trained civilians to respond mental health calls instead of police. Joshua Bowling, criminal justice reporter with Searchlight New Mexico was part of an investigative team examining if these programs are enough to address the issue.
