Sandia Labs develops sensor to use during cancer treatment

The Sandia National Laboratories has developed a new sensor to detect radioactive materials during proton radiotherapy. Researcher Patrick Doty, among others, created a plan to use an imaging patch, which makes it easier to provide dosages to the correct areas. Doty explains how this can help, especially with younger patients with cancer.
