New TSA unit aims to assist high travel volumes at Sunport

It’s part of a $87 million project funded by the airport to expand on what they believe will bring them into a new era of New Mexico travel.

Saturday morning, the city and Albuquerque Sunport officials announced a new Transportation Security Administration checkpoint for all travelers. Director of Aviation Richard McCurley hopes it will benefit people coming through the Land of Enchantment.
