New Mexico COVID-19 update: 6,919* new cases, totaling 388,215

Twenty-eight additional COVID-19 deaths, 7-Day positivity rate 27.4%

*Please note: Today’s reporting was impacted by the temporary disruption in the electronic lab feed. Approximately, 1,000 new COVID-19 cases were received after resolution of the electronic lab reporting disruption and are included in today’s COVID-19 epidemiology report. An additional 2,540 new cases were reported by one laboratory, and these include cases that were recently tested over the past 12 days. These new cases just reported to the state are also included in today’s epidemiology report.
