New grant helps fund community projects that enhance outdoor recreation opportunities
SANTA FE, N.M. ā The Outdoor Recreation Division (ORD), a division of the New Mexico Economic Development Department (EDD), has begun accepting applications for its new grant program to help residents improve access to outdoor recreation in their communities. This grant program focuses on conservation-minded shovel-ready projects that are open to the public and demonstrate a clear benefit to the community, either by attracting and retaining residents and/or attracting visitors.
