SANTA FE — The New Mexico Public Regulation Commission (PRC) will hold a second informational meeting to explore the reliability of service from each of the state’s three investor-owned utilities. Joseph Eto, of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, will present a survey of reliability reporting practices in various jurisdictions and discuss how those practices arose. He will also provide reactions to the first informational meeting, including a discussion of local reliability issues pertaining to each of the investor-owned utilities. Information from this meeting will be used to create rules for reporting standardized reliability metrics for investor-owned electric utility distribution operations.
