State to hold Tribal Symposium on the 988 crisis support line

Human Services Department to assist Tribal leadership and programs with the implementation of the Crisis Now model

SANTA FE — The New Mexico Human Services Department (HSD) today announced they will host a 988 Tribal Symposium on November 7, 2022. The symposium will provide tribal communities with 988 information, technical assistance on the development of crisis teams, assessment of community readiness, and discussion of the 988 Crisis Now model. The model was first introduced to tribal communities in 2021 and the symposium will continue engagement between HSD and New Mexico’s Pueblos, Tribes and Nations.
