SANTA FE, NM – The New Mexico Early Childhood Education and Care Department (ECECD) leadership will be travelling to Sunland Park, NM, on October 4 for a meeting of the Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) Advisory Council. An early childhood advisory council is required under federal law and helps advance the agency’s vision of creating a comprehensive, equitable and family-focused early childhood education and care system that helps all families and young children thrive. The Council engages with a wide range of stakeholders to provide input and guidance on the agency’s work.
