McBride Fire: Two fatalities, 207 homes burned; evacuations remain

828 Views   RUIDOSO, N.M. — The McBride Fire in Ruidoso has now burned 5,736 acres and claimed two lives as evacuations remain Thursday. 207 homes have also been lost since the McBride Fire began Tuesday afternoon on McBride Drive. A Type 1 Incident Management Team took over the fire response at 6 a.m. Thursday, as evacuations remain.

Lincoln National Forest fire danger rating elevated to high
