ALBUQUERQUE, NM – KOAT 7 is embarking on a year‐long campaign to celebrate 70 years of broadcasting to the entire state of New Mexico. On October 2nd, of 1953, launching at 7:00 p.m., KOAT filled televisions with movies, variety shows and local news. The last 7 decades have presented constant change and evolution of the industry.
